Hate to love him by Jody Holford ContemporaryCweenHate to Love Him by Jody Holford

Family approval was all that was important to Mia. She deserved to be part owner in her family business even if she was a girl.

Keeping a strong bond with friends was the most important thing to Brady. Family is who you make it.

When the needs of both Mia and Brady clash, tempers start to flare. They have to decide who will win, or maybe meet in the middle as crazy as that sounds.

Another opposites attract, hate to love novel.

I think that the story never really got a good start. I would have liked to see how the characters met so that I would know how the dislike between them started. I think that the lead characters felt a deep connection for each other but it kind of felt like lust. I wasn’t really convinced of the love.

I like that the characters still had conflict after they made a truce. Mia was very mature to me. She handle to whole book the best way possible while Brady over thought.

My Thoughts:

I love a good love to hate trope. I just wish that there was a bigger transition between hating and loving each other. I liked how much they learned about each other. Brady was so mature about everything except his love life. The ending was good and yet still sudden. I gave the book 3/5 stars. I wanted a little more from the book. It had the opportunity to be so much more. The originality was refreshing.
