Trouble by Avery Flynn

Drew ran away from his problems years ago, but when they come speeding into town in a sports car, its getting harder to remember that Leah is Trouble.

Leah only came back to her little town to prove that she was than whatever they pegged her to be. At least that’s the reason she’s sticking with.

Truth is the same reasons that can cause something to go bad are the same reasons that can cause something to go good.

Besides Drew’s need to protect Leah there was no real growth in their relationship. Leah had a school girl crush that grew, and Drew hadn’t even noticed her. It was only lust. I wish there was more to their relationship than sex.

This short novel was packed with so much. The adventure and mystery wasn’t lacking in this story. The author got straight to the point and didn’t leave the readers confused. I love the added levels of crime. That snatch and go at the end made for the perfect scene.

My Thoughts:

I love the direction that the author took the book in. There were some gripping scenes and some very lusty scenes. I loved that Leah was a strong person and she kept Drew on his toes. This is not the sort of book I usually read. I think that the sex scenes were too intense for me and the love didn’t make up for it. I gave the book 3/5 stars. I would recommend this book for anyone who like intense lusty reads.
