Picture Perfect by Ella Fox Book Review | (repost)

Picture Perfect by Ella Fox

This is more than a steamy read. Picture Perfect by Ella Fox is about coming to grips with whats important in your life. The story is told from two points of view. Flynn is a popular band, but the rock star life is becoming too much for him. After locking eyes on a random fan, he feels a pull to be better than a half ass singer.

Now years later we meet Tessa. Tessa gets the opportunity to meet her celebrity crush.Flynn is a lead singer of Renegade Saints. Tessa will be the photographer for the bands final tour. What she doesn’t know is that Flynn is attracted to her as well. After the two meet the chemistry is undeniable. With everything clicking between them, the only thing holding them back is Tessa.

Sometime the reality of what you dreamed of won’t be what your expected. Sometimes it will actually be better. Ella Fox writes about allowing yourself to have what you want, and not being your own road block. The family aspect opens the door for the rest of the series.

In the beginning of the book I was put off by the insta love. I just think that’s because I have been reading so many books that are doing that. In the adult steamy romance. There is always an instant love so that the sex is of the chain. There is always some random connection. There was also so many characters introduced so that the series could continue. I had a hard time keeping up with who was into who. Many of the siblings had similar names.

I enjoyed this book way more than I expected to. The book was very similar to other lustful reads. I just felt a pull to Flynn because he fought so hard to keep Tessa in the relationship. I low key think that my favorite part was the fight the two had. It was beautifully written. I have never been so emotionally attached to a disagreement. I did not predict the reactions of either character at all.

My Thoughts:

Overall I really enjoyed Picture Perfect by Ella Fox. I was so caught up in the feelings of Flynn. I do think that there were way too many sex scenes, but that is to be expected. I always love when adult books address adult topics. Tessa wasn’t the best character but, Flynn made up for it. I really want to find a relationship where you can’t get enough of each other. I gave the book 3.5 stars. I am thrilled to continue the Renegade Saints series.
