Derian is just a normal girl in love with a normal boy. That’s all she has ever wanted in life. To be with Trevor, the boy she grew up with. The guy who fits her so well. Problem is Trevor doesn’t want her, or at least he doesn’t admit to it. She has always had feelings for him, but now he knows about it. So the ball is in his court. Mason is the cool guy in school, and everyone has a bad impression of him because hes rich. Rich won’t cut it for Derian. After many attempts to amaze her with luxury, he learns all she wants is real conversations. Derian has to admit that dating Mason is becoming more than just a way to make Trevor jealous. Which by the way was working. Things between Derian and Trevor were starting to change, just as  things between her and Mason were starting to heat up. Will Derian have to give up a good friend for a great love?

So let me just tell you there are more levels to this book than a love triangle. I went into this book not knowing any details. This book made my heart warm. There was this happiness I can’t explain. There were so many layers and levels to this book. I actually didn’t know who to root for in this scenario.  It could of ended like the selection, or it could of ended like p.s I love you.  The book didn’t flow like a typical contemporary and I loved that most. The author was took a different approach with the setting and the transitions. I highly recommend this book to my contemporary lovers our there. The book didn’t feel long enough for me so I gave it 4/5 stars. There is also a third book in the series coming soon. I can’t wait to read it.
