Fifty Shades of Grey by E. L James

When I first heard of this book I thought it was about a couple having extraordinary sex. For example having sex on a private plane while in the air. The book was totally different. The book was about a new grad student Anastasia. An interview for a school paper allows Ana to meet Christian Grey. Grey is a young business man. Christian is into dominate sex. He makes his women submissive. That’s what he intends to do with Ana but it wont be as easy as he thought because Ana is a virgin. After taking her virginity they become obsessed with each other. Slowly they start making changes for each other and opening up. Christian becomes more of a boyfriend. Dialing back his controlling ways. Ana becomes more obedient and indulges in his painful sex. Together they both reveal things they never have before. But is that enough. Ana falls in love, but can guarded Christian? Christian loves to punish, but can Ana take all that he can give?

My favorite parts were the emails. Pay attention to the subject lines. I gave this book 2/5 stars. The main character Ana was increasingly annoying. I hate that I have to read two more books to get a conclusion. Plus the book was  500 pages long.
